Three Indians injured in attack on UAE, MEA says this is unacceptable

Desk: India has taken a strong stance on the attack in Fujairah, UAE. Three Indian citizens were injured in the attack, which the Indian government has described as unacceptable. The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement that the attack in Fujairah and the injuries to Indians are a serious matter. India has appealed to all countries to immediately stop the violence.

The government stated that targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure is absolutely wrong and must be stopped immediately. India reiterated that such crises can only be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy, ensuring peace in West Asia.

India maintains that unimpeded navigation through the vital sea route through the Strait of Hormuz is essential. This area is of vital importance to the world. The Ministry of External Affairs also stated that India is ready to provide all possible assistance to maintain peace.

The attack occurred on Monday in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ). According to reports, the attack was carried out using a drone, which then caused a fire. Local officials said that civil defense teams arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire. The three Indians injured in the incident suffered moderate injuries and have been hospitalized.

The Indian Embassy in the UAE stated that it is in contact with the local authorities and is monitoring the treatment and care of the injured. The UAE Defense Ministry stated that Iran fired four missiles. Three of these were intercepted mid-air, while one fell into the sea. The local administration has urged people to ignore rumors and rely only on official information.
