Panchkula Municipal Corporation Elections: Congress, said- BJP’s real model – steal votes, loot the mandate and hold democracy hostage.

New Delhi. Haryana Congress State President Rao Narendra Singh (President, Haryana Congress) and Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala (Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala) jointly held a press conference at the State Congress Committee Headquarters on Wednesday and exposed vote theft. Rao Narendra Singh said that earlier votes were stolen in different states of the country, and now the same disgusting game is being played in Panchkula Municipal Corporation Elections also.

Rao Narendra Singh said that I thank all those colleagues who worked hard in one month to prove how BJP creates a mechanism for victory by ‘stealing votes’. We can say with certainty that the BJP government has stolen votes for its own benefit in the Municipal Corporation elections. In such a situation, strict action should be taken against the officials involved in this rigging.

The entire voter list should be purified, so that the pure voter list is kept in the public domain: Randeep Singh Surjewala.

Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala said that we have three demands that the entire voter list should be purified, so that the pure voter list is kept in the public domain. How did this duplicate entry happen? There should be an impartial investigation into it? On the basis of investigation, FIR should be registered against the people involved. I have brought a copy of the voter list of Panchkula, in which many persons with the same identity are registered at different booths. Congress volunteers have identified 17,086 such people and there will be many more such people who will be registered at different booths. Today we went to the Election Commission and handed over all these details to them. BJP thinks that it will win the elections again by ‘stealing votes’, but now this is not possible.

Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala said that the vote thief is the new act of the government, a conspiracy to murder democracy in Panchkula Municipal Corporation elections 2026. Randeep Singh Surjewala said that today in Panchkula Municipal Corporation elections, we met the State Election Commission and Returning Officer and gave a formal memorandum and also handed over the list of 17,086 duplicate votes.

The total voters of Panchkula Municipal Corporation are around 2.8 lakh, and the actual scope of this duplication is likely to be more than 17,086.

We have demanded that the entire voter list should be immediately cleaned, revised and corrected. All duplicate entries should be identified and removed and the pure ward wise voter list should be published in the public domain.

A timely and thorough investigation should be ordered into the circumstances leading to these duplicate entries, which should include investigation of all the officials, the machinery of the Election Commission preparing the voter list and the individuals of BJP who cooperated in this manipulation.

On the basis of investigation, FIR should be registered under relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code 1860, Representation of the People Act 1950 and Municipal Corporation Act, especially against Kulbhushan Goyal (outgoing Mayor), Shyam Lal Bansal (BJP Mayor candidate) and all the councilor candidates of BJP from 20 wards of Municipal Corporation.

Randeep Singh Surjewala wrote on Rigging of this scale is not possible without the active connivance of the officials preparing, revising and finalizing the voter list and the BJP government. And the one taking advantage of this collusion is the BJP party. This is a well-planned, well-planned attempt to steal votes by misusing the power of power.
