To start things, interact with the Cube to open the interface. It actually looks like a grid next to your inventory.
Here you have to decide what you want to do by browsing the recipe menu on the left side of the screen. Find the exact materials you need from here!
If you are upgrading an item, you can place the piece of gear into the center slot and then add the required reagents. That shall do it!
And when you have to take care of the state, you will simply place your legendary item in the grid along with a Tuning Prism. These prisms are going to help you target the specific attribute you want to change.
Once the items are placed, click on the transmute button. A short while later, your modified item will appear.
