PBKS’s innings fell apart in the beginning itself
PBKS, which specializes in chasing huge targets, had a very poor start. Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh and captain Shreyas Iyer returned to the pavilion on 23 runs. Due to these 3 setbacks in the power play, PBKS could never recover and were never seen in the competition. Connolly played a century while holding one end but he could only save PBKS’s net run rate from deteriorating. For SRH, captain Pat Cummins led from the front, taking 2 wickets for 34 runs in 4 overs. Shivang Kumar also got 2 successes but he spent 45 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
