Meanwhile, information is coming that TVK chief Thalapathy Vijay has written a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday night, seeking support. On the other hand, on Congress’s decision to support TVK, its former ally DMK has termed Congress as backstabbing.
Congress has got five seats. Rahul Gandhi has congratulated actor Vijay on his victory. Actor Vijay had also replied to Rahul Gandhi on this. DMK has given a strong reaction to this entire incident. Actually, Congress is part of the DMK-led alliance in Tamil Nadu. In such a situation, discussion has started whether DMK will leave Congress at the Centre. DMK has 22 members in the Lok Sabha and 10 in the Rajya Sabha.
According to reports, the Congress has decided to enter into a conditional alliance with Vijay’s party TVK after an overnight meeting, with demands including cabinet posts and chairmanship of some boards. Senior Congress leaders met Vijay regarding this on Wednesday. After this, Congress will announce its support to Vijay in a press conference in the afternoon itself.
