Philippines’s Entalula named world’s most beautiful beach this year

Located in Palawan Island, one of the most famous places in the Southeast Asian country, Entalula is a secluded stretch of sand framed by dramatic limestone cliffs and turquoise waters.

In the 2025 ranking, it placed second.

According to Tine Holst, cofounder and CEO of The World’s 50 Best Beaches, the beach stood out for offering something increasingly rare: a coastline that feels genuinely untouched.

The ranking was based on a range of criteria, including how unique and unspoiled each beach feels, the likelihood of encountering wildlife, the ease of swimming conditions, and overall crowd levels.

Judges also assessed whether a beach offers an authentic natural soundscape, with minimal noise beyond the ocean, and the overall chances of enjoying a truly idyllic day.

Coming in second on the list is Fteri Beach in Greece. Wharton Beach in Western Australia came in third.

Nosy Iranja in Madagascar ranked fourth and East Beach on Vomo Island in Fiji rounded out the top five.
