Samrat cabinet expanded, 32 new ministers took oath, 4 women also got responsibility

Patna. A big development was seen in the politics of Bihar today, when the cabinet of the NDA government led by Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary was expanded. A total of 32 ministers took the oath of office and secrecy in the grand swearing-in ceremony held in the capital Patna. This expansion is being considered very important from the point of view of upcoming political equations and social balance.

The most talked about was the inclusion of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar in the cabinet. After Nishant Kumar, who came into active role for the first time, got the post of minister, the discussion about new equations in the politics of Bihar has intensified.

NDA allies got representation

All major allies of NDA were given representation in the cabinet expansion. 15 MLAs from BJP, 13 from JDU, 2 from LJPR, 1 from HAM and 1 from RLM were made ministers. According to political analysts, this expansion has been done keeping in mind the ethnic and regional balance.

Many senior leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Nath were present at the swearing-in ceremony. Apart from this, Union Ministers associated with Bihar and Chief Ministers of various states also participated in the function.

Many prominent faces like Shravan Kumar, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Leshi Singh, Ramkripal Yadav, Nitish Mishra, Damodar Rawat, Sanjay Singh (Tiger) and Ashok Chaudhary were among those who took the oath. Those who became ministers for the first time include new names like Nishant Kumar, Mithilesh Tiwari, Shweta Kumari, Bulo Mandal, Nandkishore Ram and Ramchandra Prasad.

Expansion is being linked to election strategy

Political experts believe that the cabinet expansion is not just an administrative change but also a part of the preparation for the upcoming elections. Efforts to resolve social equations, to give opportunities to youth and new faces and to keep allies satisfied are clearly visible in this expansion.
