Kal Ka Mausam: ‘Tandav’ of storm in UP-Bihar, heat will scorch in Delhi; Know how the weather will be in your state tomorrow

New Delhi: These days a strange contradiction is being seen in the weather patterns in the country. On one hand, people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are troubled by the rain from the sky and dust storms, while on the other hand, ‘sweating’ days are about to begin for the people of Delhi-NCR. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert in 11 states of the country for tomorrow i.e. May 8. Actually, due to the activity of western disturbance and atmospheric changes, a strange hide and seek of weather is going on from north to south.

It is being told that nature’s havoc may be seen in many parts of UP and Bihar tomorrow. Here, strong winds blowing at a speed of 55 kilometers per hour can disrupt life. At the same time, snowfall in the mountains and torrential rains in the south are also going to continue.

Orange alert of storm in UP-Bihar

The coming 48 hours are going to be very challenging for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued ‘Orange Alert’ regarding storm and rain in about 15 districts of Bihar. There is a possibility of intermittent rain in districts like Kishanganj, Supaul, Araria and Khagaria. Actually, rain here will bring down the temperature, but winds with a speed of 40 to 55 kilometers can also cause harm.

Talking about Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of lightning and dust storm in the Terai areas and eastern districts. According to the local people, the moisture that was there in the weather for the last few days is now indicating a big storm. However, the weather is expected to become dry in UP from May 9 onwards.

The scorching heat will return again in Delhi

The soothing coolness that was being felt in the capital Delhi and surrounding areas for the last few days is about to disappear. The sun will be fierce in Delhi-NCR between May 8 and May 12. If we look at the data of the Meteorological Department, the mercury may cross 40 degrees Celsius in the next two-three days. Tomorrow i.e. on May 8, the maximum temperature is expected to be 37 degrees, which will gradually reach near 40 degrees by May 11. Now the humidity and heat are troubling people even at night.

Snowfall in the mountains and torrential rain in the south

If you are going to go on a trip to the mountains tomorrow, be careful. There is a strong possibility of rain and snowfall in districts like Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand between May 8 and 10. Yellow alert of heavy rain has also been issued in Himachal Pradesh for May 11 and 12.

At the same time, the situation in South India is also no different. Due to the cyclonic pressure in the Gulf of Mannar, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in 11 districts of Tamil Nadu like Nilgiris and Coimbatore. There is a fear of dust storm and sporadic hailstorm in some parts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, due to which lines of worry have drawn on the forehead of the farmers.

Overall, tomorrow’s weather is going to bring some relief and some disaster. The department has advised people to stay in safe places away from trees and electric poles during severe thunderstorms and lightning.
