Sanjay Kapur Property Dispute: Big decision of Supreme Court in Sanjay Kapoor property dispute, former CJI Chandrachud will try for reconciliation

Sanjay Kapoor Property Dispute:The Supreme Court has taken a big step in the ongoing dispute regarding the property and family trust of late industrialist Sanjay Kapoor. The court has appointed former Chief Justice of the country Chandrachud (DY Chandrachud) as arbitrator to resolve the matter. This dispute is going on between Sanjay Kapoor’s mother Rani Kapoor and wife Priya Kapoor.

Court advised compromise
The Supreme Court bench said that this is a family matter and efforts should be made to resolve it through dialogue. The court said that if the case continues like this in the courts, it may take many years to end. Therefore the family should find a solution through mediation.

Ban from giving statement on social media
During the hearing, the court also gave strict instructions to both the parties. The court said that neither party will now make public statements or social media posts on this dispute. The bench said, “This is a family dispute. Keep it confined to the family, do not make it a source of entertainment.”

What is the whole matter?
This dispute started after the death of Sanjay Kapoor regarding his property, family trust and inheritance. Sanjay Kapoor’s mother Rani Kapoor has filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding that the family trust be declared invalid. He alleges that the trust was formed without his knowledge and permission.

Rani Kapoor made serious allegations
Rani Kapoor claimed that when she was ill, she was made to sign many documents without giving her complete information. He alleged that some of the papers were blank and were later used to transfer property. On the other hand, Priya Kapoor has termed all these allegations as wrong.

Karisma Kapoor and children’s names also
Karishma Kapoor in this controversy (Karisma Kapoor) and the names of her children Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Kapoor have also been revealed. It is being told that Karisma Kapoor had filed a succession related case on behalf of her children. Whereas Rani Kapoor has declared herself the only legal heir of the family property.

Next hearing will be in August
The Supreme Court said that the case will be heard further only after receiving the initial report of former CJI DY Chandrachud. Now the next hearing of this case will be in the month of August.
