Life changed due to father’s question
In an old interview, Vijay had told that he met his wife Sangeeta on the sets of the film ‘Love Today’. During that time Sangeeta had come to meet him with her family. During the conversation, Sangeeta’s simplicity and nature won the hearts of Vijay and his family.
Vijay had told that his father suddenly asked him his opinion about Sangeeta and then directly asked him a question about marriage. He was a little surprised by this question, but later with the consent of both the families, the relationship moved forward.
Married in 1999
Vijay and Sangeeta got married on 25 August 1999. Both come from different religions, but this marriage was solemnized with the consent of the families. After this, their son was born in 2000 and daughter in 2005.
