Leftover Rice Pakoda is one such easy and delicious recipe. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these pakoras taste amazing with tea. Material
- 1 cup cooked leftover rice
- 1 onion finely and long chopped
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1/4 cup coriander finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Kasuri Methi
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chillies
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup gram flour
- Oil for frying

- First take the remaining cooked rice in a large bowl. Add chopped onion, green chillies and coriander to it.
- After this add kasuri methi, turmeric, red chilli and salt and mix the mixture.
- Now add besan to it. Mix all the ingredients well adding 2 to 4 teaspoons of water as required to make the mixture uniform.
- Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is medium hot, drop small pakodas of the prepared mixture in the oil.
- Fry the pakoras on medium heat until golden and crispy. Drain the fried pakodas on a tissue paper, this will remove the excess oil.
- Hot rice pakoras will be ready in just 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve these crispy pakodas with green chutney, tomato sauce or hot tea.
- This can be a great dish for a light evening meal.
