China-Pakistan conspiracy against India? Shocking revelation made in an interview a year after Operation Sindoor
China Supports Pakistan Military Alliance: Finally, China has confirmed for the first time that during last year’s conflict with India, it had provided on-the-spot technical assistance to the Pakistan Air Force. Last Thursday, China’s state broadcaster CCTV aired an interview with Zhang Heng, an engineer at the Chengdu Aircraft Design and Research Institute, a division of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
In this interview, Chinese officials openly acknowledged this fact. It is noteworthy that this institute is one of the major manufacturers of advanced fighter aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in China.
What did Zhang say in the interview?
During the interview, Zhang admitted that acting on the instructions of the country’s leadership, he not only provided details about India’s preparedness to Pakistan through satellites for four consecutive days in May last year, but also provided technical assistance to the Pakistan Air Force.
The world is well aware that about 81 percent of Pakistan’s military equipment is of Chinese origin. China effectively uses Pakistan as a “living laboratory” to test its weapons. During their regular briefing last year, Indian Army officials had already indicated that China was sharing intelligence related to India’s preparedness with Pakistan. Now, some reports claim that Pakistan may very soon acquire modern stealth fighter aircraft from China, a development that has further raised India’s security concerns.
Background of ‘Operation Sindoor’
Tensions between India and Pakistan increased after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the death of 26 people. In retaliation, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, in which nine terrorist hideouts located within Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) were targeted. In this special operation, which is a testament to the bravery of the nation, more than 100 terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen were killed.
Operation Sindoor completes one year
On the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army held a press conference to provide details about the decisive blow delivered to Pakistan. Engineers from Aviation Industry Corporation of China have admitted on camera that a team of theirs was present in Pakistan. At the time, while conducting their analysis, the team was repeatedly hearing the sounds of fighter planes and air raid sirens. It is worth noting that Pakistan does not have any indigenous capability of its own; Instead, he flies “Made in China” fighter aircraft, specifically, the Chinese J-10CE.
