IPL 2026 DC vs KKR: Kolkata Knight Riders have scored a four-match win in IPL 2026. Today i.e. on 8th May, KCare has registered its fourth win this season by defeating Delhi Capitals in their own home i.e. Arun Jaitley Stadium. Captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and decided to bowl. DC had set the target of 143 runs on the basis of the innings of Pathum Nissanka and Ashutosh Sharma. Which KKR easily won with 8 wickets remaining.
Delhi blown away by Finn Allen’s storm
While chasing the target, Kolkata Knight Riders did not have a very good start. Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi were unfortunately out after scoring 13 and 1 runs respectively. When Rahane was run out at the non-striker’s end, the ball hit Raghuvanshi’s hand and hit the stumps. Despite this, Finn Allen did not let the pace of runs stop, he played a big role in KKR’s victory by scoring 100 runs in 47 balls. Cameron Green supported him well by contributing 33 runs in 27 balls.
Delhi lost 4 wickets within 15 runs
The pair of KL Rahul and Pathum Nissanka gave a good start to Delhi Capitals. Especially Nissanka had continued playing aggressive shots from the first over itself, on the other hand Rahul was batting cautiously. However, this pair could only add 49 runs for the first wicket. KL Rahul was out on the last ball of the 5th over. After this it seemed as if there was a flurry of wickets. Pathum Nissanka was out after scoring 50 runs in 30 balls, while Nitish Rana (8), Sameer Rizvi (3) and Tristan Stubbs (2) could not do anything special. Within no time, half the Delhi team had returned to the pavilion with the score at 89.
