Kolkata. Home Minister Amit Shah, who reached West Bengal, fiercely targeted Congress. He also cornered Rahul Gandhi on SIR, vote theft and other issues. He said, I believe that Congress needs to introspect about its defeat. Actually, after the results of West Bengal elections, Rahul Gandhi had raised the issue of SIR and vote theft. Now Home Minister Amit Shah has targeted him.

Amit Shah said that Congress has not been winning elections from many places for many years. Now they have come to know that if it is impossible to win the elections then they should defame the election process itself. That is why the prominent leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi tried to throw mud on sometimes EVM, sometimes voter list and sometimes SIR.
Why have I come today to tell Congress, we have been in power since 2014, but we could not become your CM in Tamil Nadu since 1967, was this vote theft? You did not become CM in West Bengal for 49 years, was this vote theft? In Sikkim for 42 years, in Bihar for 36 years, in Gujarat for 30 years, in Odisha for 26 years, in Nagaland for 33 years, in Maharashtra for 12 years, if all these are vote thefts, then those who steal votes are sitting with you. All are members of the Indie Alliance. I believe that Congress needs to introspect about its defeat.
Also said, today we have a government in Tripura, we have a government in Assam and now our government has been formed in Bengal too… Infiltration and cow smuggling is going to be impossible. With determination, the Government of Bengal and the Government of India will convert this border into an impregnable fortress of national security. Out of 23 administrative districts, there are 9 districts where Didi’s account has not even been opened. The mess has been cleared. I have never seen such a massive mandate because when the government works, it gets the mandate, but where the government is in the opposition party and the leader of the opposition party is not given a chance to speak, the ruling party has zero votes in 9 districts. This is only the grace of the public and God.
Amit Shah further said, I want to thank the people of Bhawanipur very much. Shubhendu da had defeated Didi in Nandigram in the last elections. I had seen an interview of Didi, in which she had said that I had gone to fight in her stronghold… Didi, this time Shubhendu da has defeated you in your own house.
