In West Bengal, BJP has achieved a big victory by defeating Trinamool Congress in the assembly elections. After this, many videos criticizing TMC leaders and workers are going viral on social media. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra has shared a video, which is said to be from inside the plane. In the video, some people are heard raising slogans of “Chor Chor, TMC Chor” and “Jai Shri Ram”. After this Moitra has demanded action against the people concerned.
Mahua Moitra has alleged that she was harassed in the plane. This incident happened on Thursday (May 7) in a Delhi-bound Indigo flight. According to Moitra, she was going to Delhi on official work to attend the meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence. TMC leaders claim that a group of male passengers raised slogans of “chor chor, TMC chor” and “Jai Shri Ram” on the plane and filmed them. Moitra has demanded immediate punitive action from Airlines and Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu.
Moitra was sitting in seat 1F on IndiGo flight 6E 719 when a group of four to six men boarded the plane and allegedly started staring at her. According to him, before the plane landed and the doors opened, the group started shouting slogans while recording the video without his permission. In the video posted by Mahua Moitra, some men are heard raising slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Chor Chor TMC Chor”. After this, Moitra wrote on ‘X’, “This is not public anger. This is harassment and a violation of my safety in the plane. These goons who behave like this in the plane cannot get away with it under any circumstances.”

In another post on ‘X’, Moitra also targeted BJP. She wrote, “This is the culture of BJP. What is there to be surprised about? I ignored it and went straight to my meeting from the airport. Later people sent me the video which Sanghi was making viral. Only then I made the matter public. IndiGo is asking for a formal complaint from me, which I am sending.”
