Gold-Silver Rate Today In India: Changes in the prices of gold and silver continue in the international and domestic markets. On the morning of May 9, gold has become cheaper in the country’s major metros Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Whereas a slight increase has been seen in the price of gold in Chennai. Spot gold in the international market is at $ 4,721 per ounce.
Today, there has been a brake on the price of gold in many parts of the country, which has brought great relief to the buyers. On the other hand, the price of precious metal silver continues to rise rapidly. Spot silver in the international market has reached the level of $ 81.14 per ounce. Due to these global and domestic reasons, there is a lot of turmoil in the Indian metal market today.
Gold price in different cities of the country
In the capital Delhi, the price of 24 carat gold has become Rs 1,52,870 and the price of 22 carat gold has become Rs 1,40,090 per 10 grams. Whereas in Mumbai, 24 carat gold has come at Rs 1,52,670 and 22 carat gold at Rs 1,39,940 per 10 grams. A day ago, the price of gold had fallen by Rs 100 to Rs 1,55,900 per 10 grams in Delhi’s bullion market.
The price of 24 carat gold in Chennai is Rs 1,53,850 per 10 grams, while the price of 22 carat is recorded at Rs 1,41,030 per 10 grams. Even in Pune and Bengaluru, the price of 24 carat gold remains at Rs 1,52,670 per 10 grams. In both these cities, the rate of 22 carat gold remains completely stable at Rs 1,39,940 per 10 grams.
In major cities like Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Kolkata, the price of 24 carat gold is around Rs 1,52,720 and Rs 1,52,670. Whereas in Jaipur, Chandigarh and Lucknow, today’s price of 22 carat gold has reached Rs 1,40,090 per 10 grams. Apart from this, in Bhopal city, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,52,720 and 22 carat gold at Rs 1,39,940 per 10 grams.

Great rise in silver prices
Unlike gold, investors are continuously seeing a tremendous rise in the price of another precious metal, silver. On the morning of 9th May, its price in the country has crossed Rs 275100 per kg. Let us tell you that in the month of January this year, the price of silver in the country had crossed the historical figure of Rs 4 lakh.
