Materials:

  • Peanuts
  • Coriander
  • Green chillies
  • Garlic
  • came
  • Kadipatta
  • Oil
  • water
  • Mustard
  • cumin
  • Turmeric
  • salt
  • garam masala

Action:

  • To make Vatana Peanut Amti, first of all, soak the peanuts in water for an hour. This will split the peanuts easily.
  • Add coriander, green chilli pieces, garlic cloves, some cumin seeds, ginger in a mixer bowl and grind them finely.
    Take the prepared paste in a bowl and add the soaked peanuts to make a fine paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan. After the oil heats up, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, coriander leaves and the prepared paste and fry on low flame.
  • After roasting the spicy paste, add the prepared peanut paste to it and fry on low flame. After that add some water and mix it and add salt, turmeric, garam masala as per taste and add water as required and take the amti to a boil.
  • After the amti boils, add finely chopped coriander and mix.
  • Ready Peanut Amati made in a simple way.
