New arrival of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja
Famous Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have recently welcomed a new member in their family. He has named his second son Rudralok Kapoor Ahuja. Sharing the good news, the couple shared an emotional post on social media on Saturday night, in which they also showed the first glimpse of their newborn son.

Sonam mentioned in her post that her son was born on the auspicious occasion of Ekadashi, which she considers a blessing from God. He described it as a spiritual moment for his family and welcomed Rudralok with love and gratitude.
Name meaning and relation
Sonam also shared the meaning of her son’s name. According to him, the word ‘Rudra’ is derived from the Vedas, which symbolizes strength, healing, transformation and life energy. He told that this name not only gives the message of strength but also of new beginning and positive change.
Sonam also explained its connection with the name of her elder son Vayu. Vayu symbolizes the energy of life, while Rudra symbolizes power and transformation. Both names together create a beautiful expression of protection, balance and divine energy.
Sonam and Anand’s wedding
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married in traditional Sikh rituals in Mumbai in 2018. After this, they welcomed their first son Vayu in 2022 and now on 29 March 2026, their second son Rudralok Kapoor Ahuja was born.
