Gujarat captain Shubman Gill scored 84 runs while his opening partner Sai Sudharsan added 55 to the total as the visiting franchise posted 229 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday.

Gill faced 44 deliveries and hit nine boundaries and three sixes, while Sudharsan struck six boundaries and two sixes in 36 balls in an 118-run partnership between the two openers.
