Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Heinrich Klaasen remains king of the mountain but 15-year-old wonder kid Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has officially barged into the top five.

Klaasen and SRH Dominate the Summit

Heinrich Klaasen is the leading run-getter with 494 runs in 11 innings. The South African powerhouse has been a picture of consistency for SRH, averaging 54.89 with an explosive strike rate of 157.32. Not far behind him is his teammate Abhishek Sharma with 475 runs from his aggressive opening cameos. The Hyderabad franchise currently has the most feared batting unit in the 2026 season with two Sunrisers at the top.

The Rise of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi

The biggest talking point of the night in Jaipur was RR’s young sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Chasing a whopping 230 against GT, the 15-year-old smashed a whirlwind 36 runs in just 16 balls. In this cameo he racked up 440 runs for the season, taking him past established stars to 5th in the Orange Cap race.

Notably, Sooryavanshi set a historic record during the game, becoming the first player in history to hit 100 T20 sixes before turning 20. His strike rate of 236.55 is the best among all players in the top 10 this season.

Gill and Rahul Close the Gap

Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill played a masterclass against RR scoring a 44-ball 84 to take his season tally to 462 runs. Now he is 4th on the list just behind KL Rahul of Delhi Capitals who is 3rd with 468 runs including the highest individual score of the season 152*.
