How suddenly the secret was revealed?
The whole matter came to light when a day before, a suspicious youth speaking Haryanvi language reached the level crossing. He introduced himself as someone associated with an NGO and fitted a camera on the railway signal tower and left from there. The employee became suspicious of the youth’s activities. He immediately informed this to station master Manoj Kumar. The station master informed the RPF without any delay, after which the matter reached GRP Hajipur and Muzaffarpur. At the first level, a sub-inspector of GRP reached the spot and the camera was taken down and kept safe.
When a thorough investigation began under the leadership of Railway DSP Sonpur Sahakar Khan, the matter appeared to be very serious. The camera was handed over to Muzaffarpur GRP for technical examination. Railway technical experts have also been included in the investigation.

Camera is based on modern technology
According to the investigating agencies, this camera is based on state-of-the-art technology and is capable of making clear recordings even in the dark of night. The police have also taken out a recording of about an hour from the camera. In the footage, activities on the railway tracks as well as on the road have also been recorded.
Security agencies fear that this camera may have been installed for the purpose of some major terrorist attack, recce of railway track, monitoring of VIP movement or criminal conspiracy like murder.
