Big revelation in TCS conversion scandal: Main accused Nida Khan found from AIMIM councilor’s house, NIA engaged in investigation

Maharashtra Police has finally arrested Nida Khan, the main accused who was absconding in the conversion and sexual exploitation case related to TCS office in Nashik. Police detained him from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and produced him in Nashik court amid tight security arrangements.

This case has now also taken a political color, because during the investigation it has come to light that Nida Khan was allegedly helped in hiding by AIMIM’s local councilor Matin Patel. Considering the seriousness of the case, the court has sent Nida Khan to police custody till May 11.

Serious allegations against AIMIM councilor Matin Patel

Police investigation has claimed that Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation’s AIMIM councilor Matin Patel had provided a safe place for Nida Khan to hide. After this, the police has also made Matin Patel a co-accused in the case. Nida Khan is the eighth accused to be arrested in this case. Before this, the police had arrested seven other accused.

Accusations of pressurizing women to convert

According to the investigating agencies, Nida Khan is accused of pressurizing the women working in TCS Nashik office to convert. Along with this, women were also allegedly forced to wear hijab and follow Islamic traditions. Police say that he had also sent religiously influencing apps and YouTube links to the victim’s mobile phone.

Conspiracy to send abroad also investigated

During the investigation of the case, it has also come to light that Nida Khan was in contact with a person named Imran from Malaysia. Police suspect that a plan was being made to send women abroad through him. Apart from this, the investigating agencies are also trying to find out from where the money was coming into the bank accounts of the accused and for what activities it was being used.

NIA and TCS are also investigating

Considering the sensitivity of the case, the National Investigation Agency and Maharashtra ATS have also joined the investigation. Police suspect that Nida Khan may also have contacts with some terrorist organizations. An FIR was registered against him at Devlali police station in Nashik. She was absconding for the last 27 days and was constantly changing locations.

Anticipatory bail was sought citing pregnancy

While filing anticipatory bail petition in Nashik court, Nida Khan had declared herself pregnant. However, the court rejected his petition. After this, the police arrested him late on Thursday night from Naregaon area of ​​Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. She was living with her parents, brother and aunt in a house built amidst fields.

Political stir increased after the arrest

After the arrest of Nida Khan, the politics of Maharashtra has also heated up. Maharashtra government minister and senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsat has made serious allegations against former AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jalil. Shirsat claims, Imtiaz Jalil had full knowledge of Nida Khan’s whereabouts and was protecting her.

While reacting to this entire incident, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, it is clear that the AIMIM member has played a role in providing shelter to Nida Khan.
