Congress stabbed DMK in the back out of greed for power… PM Modi said in Bengaluru

Tezzbuzz Desk- Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the 45th anniversary program of The Art of Living Foundation in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where he fiercely attacked the Congress while addressing the public meeting. In his speech, the PM described Congress as opportunistic and treacherous and mentioned the political developments in many states.

The Prime Minister said that the Indian National Congress has a history of betrayal of its alliance partners. Referring specifically to Tamil Nadu politics, he said that Congress enjoyed power by being in alliance with TVK for a long time, but was betrayed as political circumstances changed.

PM Modi alleged that in its lust for power, Congress betrayed its own allies and said that the party has today become dependent on “parasitic politics”. He also claimed that Congress takes support of other parties only for its political survival and abandons them when the time comes.

Referring to various states in his address, the Prime Minister said that governments have been affected in many places due to political instability and internal disputes. Citing the example of Kerala, he alleged that there too the political situation is not clear and differences continue within the parties.

Along with this, the PM accused Congress of being anti-women and said that an attempt was made to stop an important amendment related to women empowerment in Parliament. He claimed that if this bill was passed, women’s participation in the country’s politics would have increased further.

At the end of the speech, the Prime Minister, while referring to the recent election results, described the victories of the Bharatiya Janata Party as proof of public support and said that a period of political change is going on in the country. Adding historical context, he also reminded of the freedom struggle of 1857 and described it as a symbol of the country’s strength.
