1. If you have paid with wrong number or UPI address, take screenshot first.

Call customer care of the app where the payment went wrong. Report any issues, share payment screenshots.
3. After verifying all the documents, customer care will request for reversal.
4. If there is no mistake on your part, the money will be refunded to your account.
You can also complain directly to NPCI. For that go to – npci.org.in. There you will get a form in which enter Transaction ID, UTR Amount, Sender and Receiver UPI ID. After you report the complaint, NPCI will contact the bank and investigate. If it is found to be wrong, it will direct the bank to return the money.
