Russia-Ukraine war finally stopped! Putin hinted at signing a peace deal with Kiev

The bloody war that has been going on for four years now is on the way to the end? Russian President Vladimir Putin has indicated that. According to sources, he has become desperate to stop the conflict. It is also reported that he may soon sign a peace treaty with Ukraine.

Putin attended an event in Moscow on Saturday to mark Russia’s Victory Day. “I think this long conflict is coming to an end,” he said while addressing reporters there. After this comment of the Russian President, the practice has started in diplomatic circles. Because the Kremlin has been projecting its military power over Ukraine for years. But suddenly the tone of the Russian president is soft, as if the two conflicting countries are now dreaming of signing a peace treaty. When asked about meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Putin said, “Only bilateral meetings are possible if both sides agree to a compromise to establish peace.”

Meanwhile, on Friday, US President Donald Trump announced a three-day cease-fire between Russia and Ukraine. “I am very happy to announce that the war between Russia and Ukraine will be suspended for three days,” he wrote on the social media site Truth Social. Soon after, Zelensky confirmed in his X-Handle that the three-day temporary ceasefire was arranged as part of US efforts to end the more than four-year-old war.

Incidentally, the war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for almost four years. US President Donald Trump has tried several times to stop this war, but no special solution has emerged. He also held separate meetings with the presidents of the two countries. But there was no proof of that. In this situation, Putin signaled a permanent end to the war by signing a peace treaty with Kiev.
