Save petrol and diesel, work from home. We do not have big oil wells, why did PM Modi say this?
PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big statement on Sunday. He said that work from home will have to be promoted. Along with this, he has appealed to use petrol and diesel sparingly. PM Modi said that for the last two months, such a big war has been going on in our neighborhood, its impact has been on the whole world and India has been even more seriously affected.
PM Modi said that India does not have big oil wells. We have to import the petrol, diesel, gas we need in large quantities from other countries of the world. He said that due to the war, the prices of petrol, diesel, gas and fertilizers have increased a lot all over the world. Have crossed even the sky.
Will have to work like Corona
Addressing a public meeting in Hyderabad, PM Modi said that during the time of Corona, we worked from home, held online meetings, video conferences, developed many such arrangements and we had also got used to it. He said that today the need of the hour is such that if we start those systems again, it will be in the national interest and we have to give priority to them again.
Emphasis on saving foreign exchange
PM Modi further said that in today’s crisis, we will have to put a lot of emphasis on saving foreign exchange, because petrol and diesel have become so expensive in the world, hence it is the duty of all of us to save the foreign exchange that is spent on the purchase of petrol and diesel. We have to save that currency as well.
