For this reason, Stalin, after much consideration, convinced DMK allies to support Thalapathy Vijay’s TVK. Saravanan also targeted DMK’s old ally Congress. DMK spokesperson said that Congress won 5 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections because the workers of Stalin’s DMK worked hard for the Congress. Actually, Congress had first announced its support to Thalapathy Vijay’s TVK. Because of which DMK is very angry with him.

In the recently held Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Thalapathy Vijay’s TVK won 108 seats. Vijay himself won from two seats. He will have to give up one seat. In the result, TVK will have only 107 MLAs. Apart from 5 Congress MLAs, Thalapathy Vijay has also been supported by DMK’s ally CPM, 2 CPI, 4 VCK and IUML MLAs. With this, the number of alliance has now reached 120 MLAs. There are 234 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly and the majority figure is 118. In such a situation, the sword will always be hanging over Thalapathy Vijay’s government.
