1. New ‘aftercare’ scheme will support orphan youth in Delhi

Delhi Government has taken a big initiative for the youth coming out of child protection homes and orphanages after completing the age of 18 years. The Government has approved “Aftercare Scheme for Young Persons” which aims to make such youth self-reliant and provide them with a secure future. Every year around 150 to 200 youth come out of child protection institutions in Delhi. When they leave institutions after the age of 18, they have to face economic, social and mental challenges. The new plan has been prepared keeping these problems in mind.

2. Arvind Kejriwal compared PM Modi with Aurangzeb

AAP party is angry over the ED raid at the house of Punjab Government Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora. 4. Summer vacation in Delhi government schools from today
