If you are planning to visit Chardham Yatra in low budget, then there is a good news for you. IRCTC, a subsidiary of Indian Railways, has launched an exciting tour package named ‘Chardham Yatra x Bengaluru’. Under this package, you will get a chance to visit four holy pilgrimage sites – Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri. This 13-day tour package (IRCTC Chardham Tour) is scheduled to commence on May 19, 2026 and June 2, 2026; Booking for these dates has now started.
Day 1 (Bengaluru to Delhi and Haridwar)
Passengers must reach Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport at least two hours before the scheduled flight departure. The flight will depart from Bengaluru at 9:15 am. After reaching Delhi at 12:10 pm, all passengers will be taken to Haridwar. After covering a distance of approximately 220 km, accommodation will be arranged in a hotel. The night will be spent in Haridwar. Meals on this day include lunch and dinner.
Day 2 (Haridwar to Barkot)
In the morning after breakfast, the group will check-out from the hotel and proceed to Barkot. After a journey of approximately 220 km, accommodation will be arranged in a hotel. The night will be spent in Barkot. The food served on this day includes breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 3 (Barkot to Yamunotri Darshan)
After breakfast in the morning, the group will leave for Hanuman Chatti. From there, they will proceed towards Yamunotri. The uphill journey to Yamunotri – about 8 kilometers – will have to be done on foot, *doli* (palanquin) or horse; The passengers will have to bear the expenses of this journey themselves. After *darshan* (puja), the group will return to Barkot. Night stay will be in Barkot only. Meals on this day include breakfast and dinner.
Day 4 (Barkot to Uttarkashi)
After breakfast in the morning, the group will depart for Uttarkashi. Upon reaching there, you will be provided with hotel accommodation. The night will be spent in Uttarkashi. Meals will include breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 5 (Gangotri Dham Darshan)
In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Gangotri. After covering a distance of about 100 kilometers, we will visit the holy temple of Mother Ganga. After darshan, we will return to Uttarkashi. The night will be spent in Uttarkashi only. Meals will include breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 6 (Uttarakashi to Guptkashi/Sitapur)
We will leave for Guptkashi or Sitapur early in the morning. This journey of approximately 200 kilometers will be completed in approximately 7 hours. Upon reaching there, you will be provided with hotel accommodation. Meals will include breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 7 (Kedarnath Dham Yatra)
In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Sonprayag. From there, we will reach Gaurikund by jeep. After that, we will trek for about 15 kilometers to reach Kedarnath Dham. After taking blessings of Lord Shiva, we will return to Gaurikund and then back to Sonprayag. The night will be spent in Guptkashi or Sitapur. Meals will include breakfast and dinner.
Day 8 (Rest at Guptkashi/Sitapur)
On this day, travelers can relax and visit nearby temples at their own pace. Meals will include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 9 (Guptkashi to Pandukeshwar)
After breakfast in the morning, we will leave for Pandukeshwar. Upon reaching there, you will be provided with hotel accommodation. The night will be spent in Pandukeshwar. Meals will include breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 10 (Badrinath Dham Darshan and departure for Mayapur)
In the morning after breakfast, we will depart for Badrinath Dham. On reaching there, we will perform puja and have darshan. After lunch, we will depart for Mayapur. On reaching Mayapur, hotel accommodation will be arranged. Meals will include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 11 (Devprayag, Rishikesh and Haridwar)
After breakfast, we will leave for Devprayag. Here, we will visit the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers and seek blessings at the Raghunathji temple. Then, after reaching Rishikesh, we will get a chance to visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula and Swarg Ashram. By evening, we will reach Haridwar and spend the night in a hotel. Meals on this day include breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 12 (Haridwar Darshan)
After breakfast, we will proceed to visit the main religious sites of Haridwar. We will be taken to Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temples. In the evening, we will get a chance to witness the spectacular view of Ganga Aarti. The night will be spent in Haridwar only. Meals on this day include breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 13 (Haridwar to Delhi and back to Bengaluru)
After breakfast, we will check-out from the hotel and proceed to Delhi Airport. Our flight will depart from Delhi at 8:15 pm and reach Bengaluru at 11:15 pm. With this, this holy journey of Chardham Yatra will be completed. Meals on this day include breakfast and lunch.
