Lucknow. Assembly elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2027. BJP has already started preparations in this regard. From booth management to organization presidents, they are already meeting with the officials of their respective organizations and giving them guidelines. On Tuesday, State President Pankaj Chaudhary will hold a meeting with the district heads of all the districts.

 

In the year 2022, BJP had contested the elections in alliance with Apna Dal and Nishad Party. BJP was successful in forming the government again in this election. OP Rajbhar’s Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and Jayant Chaudhary’s Rashtriya Lok Dal had contested the elections along with the Samajwadi Party. After the formation of BJP government, Rajbhar and Jayant Chaudhary left SP and joined hands with BJP.

Maintaining harmony is a big challenge

After this Jayant Chaudhary became a minister in the central government and OP Rajbhar was made a minister in the Yogi government. In such a situation, BJP’s allies will demand maximum tickets for their respective parties in the upcoming assembly elections. It will be a big challenge for BJP to retain allies in its camp and maintain harmony.

RLD’s dominance on western Jat seats

The seats of Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Shamli and Ghaziabad districts of Western UP are Jat dominated. Rashtriya Lok Dal has been dominating here for a long time. In the 2022 elections, RLD had contested 33 seats in alliance with SP. In this it was successful in winning 9 seats. In such a situation, she will demand maximum seats from BJP for the party in the 2027 elections.

Suheldev Party strong in nine districts in Purvanchal

The organization of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party is strong in the districts of Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya and Devipatan mandal of Purvanchal. In the year 2022, in alliance with SP, the party contested elections on 17 seats and won 6. In such a situation, in the coming assembly elections, the party chief will demand from BJP to give more tickets to the party in these districts.

Highest number of Nishad community in five districts

There are a large number of people of Nishad community in the districts of Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Varanasi and Prayagraj of Purvanchal. In the last elections, Nishad Party had contested 16 assembly seats in alliance with BJP and won 5 seats. Nishad Party will also demand to be given more seats than before in the upcoming assembly elections. It will be a challenge for BJP to retain its old allies and maintain balance in ticket distribution.

Apna Dal has good hold on Kurmi voters

At the same time, the number of Kurmi voters is more in Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Pratapgarh, Bhadohi districts of Purvanchal and Banda, Jhansi and Jalaun of Bundelkhand. Here the organization of Anupriya Patel’s party Apna Dal is strong. In the last elections, the party contested 17 seats in alliance with BJP and won 12 seats. Party chief Anupriya Patel may demand more than 17 seats in the upcoming elections.
