The Terminal List gets Season 2 release date and teaser
The upcoming season draws from Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer, and moves beyond the first season’s tightly focused revenge narrative.
Where the 2022 debut followed Navy SEAL Commander James Reece as he pursued the individuals responsible for murdering his platoon and family, Season 2 expands into a globe-trotting espionage thriller taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
Prime Video’s synopsis states that the season “centers on Navy SEAL Commander James Reece as he battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order. Reece will uncover a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family’s history.”
Chris Pratt reprises his role as Reece and serves as an executive producer through Indivisible Productions. David DiGilio returns as showrunner and executive producer, while Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick executive produce through Hill District Media. Author Jack Carr also remains closely involved in the adaptation.
In addition to the returning cast members, including Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry, Gabriel Luna joins the ensemble as Freddy Strain. The season further features an expanded international cast including Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo, Shiraz Tzarfati, Martin Sensmeier, Edwin Hodge, and Caitlin Bassett.
Meanwhile, the production continues its emphasis on operational authenticity. Former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw and former Army Ranger Max Adams serve as executive producers overseeing action sequences and technical accuracy. Additionally, former Navy SEAL Ray Mendoza, known for his work on the film Warfare, is among those contributing behind the camera.
The Terminal List is a co-production between Amazon MGM Studios and Civic Center Media, in association with MRC.
