Donald Trump China Visit: US President Donald Trump is going to visit China soon. This visit is taking place at a time when there was tension in the relations between the two countries for some time. In the last few months, America and China have looked at each other on issues like Iran war and Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Trump has expressed hope that relations between the two countries will improve soon.

Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House recently, said he expected Taiwan and energy security to be the biggest issues during his upcoming visit to China. He praised his relationship with Chinese President Xi Jinping and said that tensions over Taiwan would not escalate further.

America is working well with China

Donald Trump claimed that his government is now doing a ‘great job’ with China. Still working. He accused previous US governments of allowing China to take advantage of America. He said that we are doing a lot of business, but it is a sensible business. We were taken advantage of for many years under the previous President, now we are working well with China.

The US President praised Xi Jinping several times during the conversation. Trump said that I have a good relationship with President Xi. I respect him a lot and hope he respects me too. Trump said that Xi did not respect our previous government and also criticized former President Joe Biden. Trump said that he (Biden) could not even talk properly.

China wants stability in Hormuz Strait

Trump also linked China-related issues to tensions in West Asia and the security of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz. He claimed that China depends a large part of its oil requirement on oil coming from Hormuz, hence it also wants stability in the region.

Trump said that China gets about 40 percent of its oil from Hormuz. He also wants everything to be fine there, he does not want tension. He said energy and Iran would be the main issues of the upcoming summit.

Talk can be held only on the issue of Taiwan

But I think everything will be fine. Trump said that strong American leadership will not cause crisis in Taiwan. He said that if you have the right President, I don’t think anything like this will happen. He said Taiwan receives support from Japan and many countries in the region.
