Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry has also clarified its position regarding its proposal. According to the ministry, Tehran had demanded an end to the US naval blockade, a halt to military activities in the region and an end to Israeli attacks on Hezbollah-linked targets in Lebanon.

Along with this, Iran has also demanded the release of those assets which have been frozen abroad due to international sanctions for a long time. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bagai said that Iran did not ask for any additional concessions, but only stated its legitimate rights.
