Trump called peace proposal ‘garbage’, Iran enraged and said ‘there will be a befitting reply to the attack’

New Delhi: Tension seems to be increasing once again in the Middle East. The sharp rhetoric between Iran and America has made the political and military situation of the region more sensitive. Iran has clearly said that its armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any attack and any aggressive step will be given a befitting reply.

Trump rejected the proposal

This reaction came when US President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s recent proposal. Let us tell you, this proposal was presented with the aim of reducing the ongoing tension in the Middle East and maintaining ceasefire. However, Trump rejected this and said that the current ceasefire is in a very weak state.

what did trump say

While talking to the media in Washington, Trump said that the situation of ceasefire is such that the chances of survival of a serious patient are very less. He described Iran’s reply as not satisfactory and indicated that America is not happy with the current situation.

Iran gave a strong reaction

After Trump’s statement, a strong reaction has also come from Iran’s side. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf said the country is prepared for any possible conflict. He wrote on the social media platform X that Iran’s armed forces are capable of protecting the country in every situation and the attacker will be taught a lesson.

What did the Foreign Minister say

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry has also clarified its position regarding its proposal. According to the ministry, Tehran had demanded an end to the US naval blockade, a halt to military activities in the region and an end to Israeli attacks on Hezbollah-linked targets in Lebanon.

Along with this, Iran has also demanded the release of those assets which have been frozen abroad due to international sanctions for a long time. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bagai said that Iran did not ask for any additional concessions, but only stated its legitimate rights. Now it remains to be seen what action America takes after rejecting Iran’s proposal.
