New twist in Sanjay Kapoor property dispute, new petition filed in SC

Mumbai: There has been a dispute going on for a long time regarding the property of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband and late businessman Sanjay Kapoor. New updates keep coming out in this matter every day and this controversy is not showing any sign of stopping. Now there is a new twist in Sanjay Kapoor property dispute. Sanjay Kapoor’s mother Rani Kapoor has reached the Supreme Court and filed a new petition. Rani Kapoor has demanded a stay in the Supreme Court on the interference of board meetings and trust against Sanjay Kapoor’s third wife Priya Sachdev.

In the property dispute case of late industrialist Sanjay Kapoor, his mother Rani Kapoor has moved the Supreme Court and filed a fresh application. He accused Priya Sachdev of interfering in the trust and demanded a ban on the board meeting scheduled to be held on May 18. The Supreme Court will hear Rani Kapoor’s new application on May 14.




  • In the application, Rani Kapoor has demanded that Sanjay’s third wife Priya Sachdev Kapoor and some other defendants be prevented from interfering in the functioning of the RK Family Trust till the completion of the mediation process initiated by the court on May 7. In this petition, a stay was also sought on the notice issued by Raghuvanshi Investment Private Limited on May 8 and the board meeting of the company scheduled on May 18, which holds a large part of the disputed family property.

    The lawyer appearing on behalf of Rani Kapoor placed this matter before the Supreme Court on Tuesday, May 12 and said that the purpose of the meeting is to appoint additional directors on the board. The bench headed by Justice JB Pardiwala said that it will hear the new application on Thursday. The Supreme Court said on this matter that we have entered an area where Mahabharata will seem very small, we will look into it.
