Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train Route Map: The high-speed bullet train project between Mumbai and Ahmedabad is a big dream project of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. On which work is going on at a fast pace. Meanwhile, the government has also started giving impetus to the Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train Project. With this project of Railways, rail travel between Delhi and UP will become even easier.
The bullet train running between Delhi and Varanasi will pass through Lucknow and will cover the distance between the two cities in just two hours. Whereas by bullet train the distance between Delhi and Varanasi will be only four hours. According to the Railway Ministry, this high speed bullet train project will also reach 14 big cities of Uttar Pradesh including Delhi, Noida.
What will be special in Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train Project?
Rewal has released some information regarding the Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train Project. Under this, a 135 km long link line will be built near Lucknow in the Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train Project. This link line will be directly connected to Ayodhya. People living in Prayagraj, Bhadohi and Rae Bareli will also be able to take advantage of this bullet train through Ayodhya. Railways has set a target to complete this project from 2035 to 2040.
Regarding the Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train Project, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that, through this high speed rail corridor, the distance between the country’s capital and Lucknow will be reduced to only 2 hours. He said that this will be the second bullet train project in the country after the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project. Talking about high-speed trains running between Delhi and Lucknow, currently trains like Vande Bharat Express, Shatabdi Express and Rajdhani Express run between the two cities. Vande Bharat takes 6 hours 25 minutes to travel from Delhi to Lucknow.
What will be the route of Delhi-Varanasi bullet train?
According to Rewal, the Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train will start from Sarai Kale Khan Railway Station in the capital Delhi and will complete the journey to Noida Sector 146, Noida Airport, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Kannauj, Lucknow in two hours. After this the train will reach Varanasi via Ayodhya, Rae Bareli, Prayagraj, Bhadohi Rewale station. The length of this route will be 865 kilometers.

Will benefit from Delhi to Patna
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav claimed in a recent program that the journey between the two cities can be completed in just 3 hours 50 minutes through Delhi-Varanasi bullet train. He said that, not only the cities of Uttar Pradesh but Patna will also benefit from this high speed rail corridor. He says that after the introduction of Bullet Train, people will give more preference to trains instead of air travel.

Let us tell you that the government is working rapidly to connect Delhi as well as major economic centers like Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai with the high speed rail network. Under this, instructions have been given to prepare DPR of 7 high speed rail corridors. National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited has been formed to take the project forward. At the same time, the Railway Ministry is also preparing to complete the process of land acquisition and necessary approvals on time.
