Nora Fatehi Stars in Viral Body Roll Video
The newly released music video for Body Roll featuring Nora Fatehi and Honey Singh has gone viral online, but not just for its visuals and music. Social media users are now debating striking similarities between the video and Love, Death + Robots episode Jibarowith many calling the resemblance “too close to ignore.”
Released on YouTube over the weekend, Body Roll quickly crossed millions of views and generated massive engagement across social media platforms. The dreamlike music video features Nora Fatehi emerging from a mystical lake in elaborate golden jewellery and headgear while attempting to lure a heavily accessorised medieval warrior. The visuals, cinematic atmosphere and styling immediately reminded viewers of Jibarothe acclaimed 2022 episode from Netflix’s animated anthology series.
In Jibaroa lone conquistador encounters a mysterious siren-like figure dressed in gold near a lake deep inside a forest. Fans online pointed out similarities in costume design, jewellery, tattoos, setting, camera treatment and even certain sequences between the two productions. As screenshots and side-by-side comparison videos spread across Instagram and X, the debate intensified.
Many viewers accused the creators of directly copying the aesthetic of Jibaro. Several comments on YouTube and Instagram described the music video as a “full-fledged copy,” while others criticised the entertainment industry for allegedly taking inspiration without proper credit. One viral comment stated that calling it “inspired” felt difficult given the near-identical visual treatment and sequence design.
At the same time, some fans defended the Body Roll team, arguing that artistic inspiration is common in global entertainment and that the music video added its own commercial and dance-driven style. The discussion has since become one of the biggest online entertainment debates of the week.
Created by Tim Miller, Love, Death + Robots is known for its visually experimental storytelling and anthology format. Directed by Alberto Mielgo, Jibaro received widespread critical acclaim after its release in 2022 and became one of the most talked-about episodes of the series due to its unique animation and haunting narrative.
Despite the controversy, Body Roll continues to trend online, with fans praising Nora Fatehi’s screen presence, choreography and elaborate styling. The viral discussion has further boosted visibility for the song, turning it into one of the most searched entertainment topics across social media platforms.
