Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign run by the Uttar Pradesh government has today emerged as a ray of hope for the youth of the state. This scheme is not only providing financial support to the youth, but is also giving them a powerful medium to become self-reliant. Taking advantage of this scheme, Ketan Kumar Pandey, a resident of Robertsganj in Sonbhadra district, has set an inspiring example by realizing his dreams. Ketan Kumar Pandey, son of Ashok Pandey, resident of Arya Nagar (Main Road), Robertsganj. Ketan, who grew up in an ordinary family, had a dream of doing something different and setting up his own business from the very beginning.

They wanted that instead of wandering in search of jobs, they should establish their own employment and create opportunities for others as well. But due to limited financial resources his dream remained unfulfilled again and again. During this time he got information about Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign. This scheme came as a new ray of hope for them.

He decided to apply under this scheme without any delay. Initially he faced some difficulties in understanding the process and collecting the required documents, but he did not give up. He completed all the formalities with the guidance of the concerned departments and bank officials.

His efforts were successful and he got a loan of Rs 5,00,000 (Rs five lakh) from UCO Bank, Robertsganj, Sonbhadra. This was an important moment in his life, which provided a strong foundation towards realizing his dreams. Making good use of the loan amount received, Ketan established a modern and organized food restaurant on the main road of Robertsganj.

He gave top priority to cleanliness, quality and customer satisfaction in his restaurant. In the beginning they faced many challenges like winning the trust of customers, maintaining competition in the market, and providing stability to the business. But he faced every challenge with patience, hard work and positive thinking. Gradually his restaurant started gaining recognition. Due to delicious food, better service and clean environment, the number of customers started increasing continuously.

Today his food restaurant has not only become popular among the local people, but people from nearby areas have also started coming here. The most inspiring aspect is that through this business, Ketan has not only made himself self-reliant but has also provided employment to five other people. Thus, they are also making important contribution to the society through employment generation. The people working with him are also now able to support their families with dignity.

Ketan Kumar Pandey says, this scheme has proved to be a turning point in my life. If I had not got the support of the Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign, I would probably still be struggling to fulfill my dreams. Expressing deep gratitude towards Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he says that his visionary thinking and schemes made in the interest of the youth have given a new direction to thousands of youth.

He further says that the cooperation of the district officials and bank employees associated with this scheme has been highly commendable. It is only because of his guidance and support that he has been able to reach this position. Ketan believes that if youth get the right direction and opportunity, they can achieve any goal.

This success of Ketan proves that government schemes are not limited to papers only, but their real benefits are reaching the common people. All that is needed is awareness, right effort and determination. He has proved that with hard work, confidence and the right opportunity, any person can write his own destiny.
