A surprising case has come to light in the southern Italian city of Campania. Here a woman cut off her husband’s penis while he was sleeping at night. Now he is suing after photos of his genitals kept in a medical bag were leaked. The surprising thing is that the wife had cut off the husband’s penis (private part) because he had invited another woman to live with him. This unnamed Bangladeshi man had recently started living with his wife in the Italian city of Angri in Campania. The husband had suggested the wife to buy a bigger house so that she could accommodate an additional person.

After this a woman came to stay at the house. Meanwhile, his wife reportedly took a very drastic step. She waited until the husband fell asleep during his post-lunch nap. The wife then picked up a knife from the kitchen and cut off his penis. Paramedics placed his severed genitalia in ice. There was hope that he could be reattached, but on reaching the hospital the surgeons said that it would be impossible to reattach his limb.

Now some pictures have surfaced on social media in which the person is seen lying on a hospital bed. There is also a photo of his penis sealed in a medical bag. Two lawyers representing the 35-year-old victim have announced that they will file a complaint to identify the person who took the photos and shared them online.

Lawyers Angelo and Sergio Pisani, representing the victim, said shocking images of the amputated man lying on a hospital bed, along with a photo of his penis kept in a sealed medical bag, have gone viral. In such a situation, it is spreading rapidly online through chat rooms and social media. All this is happening in an environment of huge stir in the media.

Lawyer will take action

The lawyers further said that this material is of very serious nature. This indicates that it has been spread either from within the hospital itself or by people who had direct access to the patient during treatment.

Lawyers say this has turned a humanitarian and medical tragedy into a viral spectacle. He further said, “Whoever has released these pictures will have to answer under criminal and civil laws. If there is any negligence or responsibility on the part of the healthcare institution in this matter, then they will also have to answer.”

Woman was upset after attack on husband

On receiving the complaint, the police reached the spot and found that his wife was wandering here and there in a confused state. Along with this, he reportedly still had a blood stained knife in his hand. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

Drugs were given before the attack

Officials are also investigating the man’s last meal to find out if his wife had given him any drugs before the attack. The alleged attack is being investigated by a team of Carabinieri police, led by Commander Gianfranco Albanese and a local prosecutor, Gianluca Caputo. Angelo Pisani, a lawyer and founder of an organization that campaigns against domestic violence, said that this is a case of unprecedented violence. She has offered to fight her husband’s case for free.

A similar case has happened before

In 1993, Lorena Bobbitt alleged that her husband, John Wayne Bobbitt, had raped her and, in a desperate attempt of self-defense, had cut off his penis with a kitchen knife while she slept. He was charged with intentional infliction of bodily injury after he threw the severed body part out of the window while sitting in his car in Manassas, Virginia. After Lorena provided the exact location, officials were able to locate the organ in a field, and after a ten-hour surgery it was reattached. However, this person was not so lucky.
