It will be mandatory for private schools to make the complete information about fees public, arbitrary increase and unnecessary fees will be banned. Also, freedom to buy books-uniform from anywhere, students will not be deprived of exams/results even if fees are outstanding. Strict action is certain if the order is violated. This will make the education system in the state more transparent, equitable and accessible.
In fact, due to poor teaching conditions in government schools in Bihar, people’s dependence on private schools has increased. Private schools are continuously acting arbitrarily in this regard. Whenever school fees are increased, sometimes the school administrators set up shops for the purchase of books, uniforms or other materials. Now CM Samrat Chaudhary has taken strict action regarding this.
