‘The bigger the theft, the bigger the reward’, Rahul Gandhi angry at the government over NEET cancellation

After the cancellation of NEET UG 2026 exam, the political turmoil in the country has intensified. Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has opened a front against the Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this issue. Rahul made a scathing attack and said that the so-called ‘Amrit Kaal’ of the Prime Minister has now turned into a ‘poisonous period’ for the youth of the country. He also accused the Modi government that the government gives big rewards to those who commit big theft.

Rahul Gandhi alleged that the BJP government is giving protection to those who are playing with the future of students. He said that the hard work of more than 22 lakh students, their dreams and the sacrifices made by their families have been lost to this corrupt system. According to Rahul, this is not just the cancellation of the examination, but an organized crime against the future of the youth.

Targeting the government on social media platform X, Rahul Gandhi said that today money and access have become more important than hard work in the education system. He wrote, ‘In the market where students’ dreams are being auctioned, there is only one rule: the bigger the theft, the bigger the reward.’ In this post, he also asked people to do one thing and Google themselves ‘Who was the DG of NTA during the horrific theft of NEET 2024 and where has the Modi government placed him today?’

In another post, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Not an exam, NEET is now an auction. Modi ji, when you put the bill of your every failure on the public, then the future of poor children also comes in the same bill. The confidence of 22 lakh children has been broken. There is no bigger threat to the dreams of the youth of India than the Modi government. He alleged in this post that many questions were being sold on WhatsApp 42 hours before the exam.
