Lucknow, 14 May. The last rites of Prateek Yadav, son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav, will be performed at Bhaisakund in Lucknow at around 11 am on Thursday. Earlier, the mortal remains of Prateek Yadav have been kept at his residence on Vikramaditya Marg, Lucknow for the last darshan. Prateek Yadav (38 years), step brother of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, died on Wednesday morning in Lucknow after a prolonged illness. Information related to his funeral was shared by wife Aparna Yadav on X on Wednesday night.

According to the post-mortem report, Prateek Yadav died due to sudden cardiac arrest. His death was caused by massive pulmonary thromboembolism. According to reports, this is a life-threatening condition in which a blood clot formed in the legs and pelvis area reaches the upper parts of the body and eventually blocks the artery of the lungs. This led to cardiorespiratory collapse, which ultimately led to Prateek’s untimely death.
According to reports, thromboembolic material related to the heart and lungs have been preserved for histopathological examination, while the viscera has been preserved for chemical analysis and handed over to the concerned police officer. According to Civil Hospital Director Dr. GP Gupta, a team of doctors was sent to Prateek Yadav’s residence after receiving information about his health deteriorating at around 5 in the morning. After this he was brought to the hospital, where he was declared dead at around 5:55 am. In the post-mortem report, a total of six injury marks were found on Prateek Yadav’s body. There were signs of severe internal injuries and blood accumulation under the skin on the right side of the chest, right hand, right forearm, right elbow and left wrist.
The first injury was 14×7 cm in size, which was found on the front part of the chest. Its central part was reddish-brown, while the edges appeared greenish-yellow. The second injury was 19×12 cm in size, found on the back of the right hand. The third injury was 24×8 cm, found on the right forearm. The fourth injury was 6×4 cm, which was found on the right forearm. The fifth injury was found on the right elbow and the sixth injury was found on the left wrist. The initial suspicions were confirmed when blood accumulation was found beneath these injuries. Doctors clarified that all the injuries found on Prateek Yadav’s body were caused before his death. According to the report, the first, second and third injuries were said to be about 5 to 7 days old, while the fourth, fifth and sixth injuries were said to be about a day old.
