Video- Muslim youth caught with minor Hindu girl in Bareilly’s Hotel Taj, Hindu organizations created ruckus by alleging love jihad, accused in custody.

Bareilly: There was a stir at Hotel Taj Delhi Darbar located on Nainital Highway on Friday morning when Hindu organizations and police jointly raided and recovered an underage student from the hotel. From the spot, the police found a young man named Mujahid in a naked state in the room with the student. On the complaint of the student, the police have registered a case of rape against the accused. Hindu organizations allege that the police have not taken any action against the owner of the hotel where the two were found, nor have they sealed the hotel. The police did not even impose the section of religious conversion whereas this is directly a case of Love Jihad.

Allegation of luring and taking to hotel

A 16-year-old student, resident of Varanasi, is studying in ITI located in Roorkee village, living in Bahedi. It is alleged that a young man named Mujahid seduced her and took her to Hotel Taj, where both of them stayed overnight. When Hindu organizations got information about this, they informed Baheri police station.

Case registered under serious sections including POCSO Act, rape of minor

It is said that around 5 am on Friday, police and officials of Hindu organizations raided the hotel. During the action, the girl student and the young man were recovered from the hotel and brought to the police station. When the police opened the door of the hotel room, the youth was found naked. After bringing both of them to the police station, the student lodged a complaint against the accused. Police have registered a case against him under serious sections including POCSO Act, rape of a minor. The police did not take any action against the hotel owner, nor was the hotel sealed. After the insistence of Hindu organizations, the police took possession of the register and DBR of the hotel.

Demand for strict action against hotel management

District President of Hindu Jagran Manch Yuva, Himanshu Patel, expressing displeasure over the incident, has made serious allegations against the hotel management. He says that people are being accommodated in hotels without adequate verification, due to which such incidents are coming to the fore. He has demanded strict action from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Bareilly Police against the accused youth and the hotel management.

BJP leader Nishith Gangwar, Raja Bhati said that the accused youth used to lure Hindu girls by showing them luxury cars and luxury lifestyle. They were either made to engage in immoral activities or their religion was converted. Police should also increase the section on religious conversion in this case. He has also informed Bareilly SSP and ADG regarding this.

Mujahid works to sell biryani

According to the police, 25-year-old Mujahid works as a seller of biryani on old roadways. Meanwhile, the student’s family has been informed about the incident. Police are searching Mujahid’s phone in this case.
