Abhishek Sharma’s record in danger
Currently, this record is in the name of Abhishek Sharma, who hit 42 sixes in the 2024 season. Vaibhav has currently reached 40 sixes and if he hits three sixes against Delhi Capitals, he will create a new Indian record. At the age of just 15, Vaibhav’s aggressive style has become a problem for big bowlers. He believes in scoring fast runs from the beginning and does not hesitate in playing long shots.
Also keep an eye on playoff expectations
Today’s match is considered important for both Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals. Rajasthan team is still in a strong position in the race for the playoffs, while Delhi’s hopes are considered very weak. If Rajasthan wins this match then Delhi can officially be out of the tournament.

Vaibhav has already become the Indian batsman to score the fastest century in IPL history. Last season, he surprised everyone by scoring a century in just 35 balls. Now his eyes are on the record of Abhishek Sharma as well as the all-time record of Chris Gayle, who hit 59 sixes in a season in 2012. But to break this record, Rajasthan will have to be in the top four so that Vaibhav gets the opportunity to play as many matches as possible.
