Chopan police and UP-112 team became angels, saved life by giving CPR to a hanging woman.

Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, the district police is working with constant readiness for the safety and assistance of the common people. In this sequence, a woman’s life was saved by taking prompt and commendable action by Chopan police station and UP-112 PRV team.

According to the information received, Anil Kumar, son of Ramesh Kumar, resident of Amma Tola near Nagar Panchayat under Chopan police station area, lives in a rented house with his wife Chhoti. On the night of 16/17.05.2026, due to a family dispute, the woman tried to hang herself by locking herself in the room. Information about the incident was immediately given to UP-112 PRV vehicle number-1070.

As soon as the information was received, Chief Constable Narendra Kumar Patel and Constable Sunil Kumar Gaur immediately reached the spot. When the police team looked through the window, the woman was seen preparing to hang herself. A lot of efforts were made by the policemen to convince the woman, but the woman attempted suicide by making a noose of her saree with the help of a fan.

Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the police team immediately displayed courage and wisdom and entered inside by breaking the window of the room and brought the woman down from the noose. At that time the woman’s breathing had stopped. Without wasting any time, the police personnel immediately gave CPR to the woman, due to which within some time the woman started breathing again.

After this, the woman was immediately taken to the Community Health Center, Chopan, where after first aid, she was referred to the district hospital for better treatment. According to doctors, the woman’s life could be saved due to timely CPR. At present the condition of the woman is safe and normal.
