3 doctors were playing with their lives in MP, were treating patients on fake degrees, wires connected till Bhopal
MP Fake Doctor: A big news has come out from Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh which is embarrassing the health department and shocking the general public. The MBBS degree of two doctors treating patients in the government Sanjeevani Clinic run in the district has been found to be completely fake. This entire matter has been disclosed by Damoh Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladagi.
Another fake doctor revealed during interrogation
The police showed promptness and arrested both the accused doctors. Not only this, when these accused were strictly interrogated, on their information another fake doctor was also arrested from Jabalpur. After this action, there has been a stir in the medical world of the entire state. The police is now investigating deeply where the links of this gang are and how many more such fake doctors are playing with people’s lives in the district.
Got a government job with the help of forged documents
This entire game was going on in the Sanjeevani Clinic operated under the National Health Mission located in Subhash Colony, Damoh. Dr. Kumar Sachin Yadav, who is a resident of Gwalior, and Dr. Rajpal Gaur, who is a resident of Magardha, Kakukheda in Sehore district, were posted in this clinic. To prove themselves as qualified and genuine doctors, both of them had prepared fake and forged MBBS degree, Medical Council registration certificate and other educational documents.
On the basis of these fake documents, both of them cheated the government system and were working as doctors in Sanjeevani Clinic for the last one year. They were also treating innocent patients coming daily, which was posing a great threat to people’s lives.
Unknown phone call exposed the truth
This entire big fraud was exposed because of an unknown phone call. Damoh’s Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Rajesh Athaya said that about ten days ago he had received a call from an unknown person. The caller confidentially informed that the degrees of the two doctors working at Sanjeevani Hospital in Damoh are completely fake.
CMHO formed investigation committee
Taking this information seriously, CMHO immediately formed an investigation committee. When the committee carefully examined all the documents and degrees of the doctors, the complaint was found to be 100 percent true. All the documents of both the doctors turned out to be fake. After this, a written report was sent to the police from the CMHO office, on which the police immediately took action.
Quick action of police and arrest
As soon as the report was received from the CMHO, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladagi, the Kotwali police station registered a case of fraud and preparing forged documents against both the accused. Without wasting any time, the police arrested both the accused doctors, Kumar Sachin Yadav and Rajpal Gaur.
Both the accused appeared in the court
After the arrest, both have been presented in the court. CMHO also clarified that these doctors were appointed directly to Sanjeevani Hospital in Damoh through the National Health Mission, Bhopal, hence their documents could not be verified at the local level first.
Third accused arrested from Jabalpur
When the police strictly interrogated the two arrested fake doctors, they made another shocking revelation. On his tip, the police raided Cherital area of Jabalpur and took into custody another fake doctor, Ajay Maurya, working in Sanjeevani Hospital there for two and a half years. Ajay Maurya is originally a resident of Alapura Jora, Morena.
What did the Superintendent of Police say on the matter?
Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladagi told the media that getting appointments through government and state level institutions on the basis of fake MBBS degree is a very serious and sensitive matter. Sanjeevani clinics are run for the treatment of general public and it is dangerous to have such people there. In this entire matter, the role of some Bhopal level institutions and middlemen also seems completely suspicious.
Police in search of main leaders
The accused have admitted during interrogation that they had obtained these fake degrees and registration certificates by paying huge amounts of money. Police have also come to know the names of some other people who make fake appointments of doctors by taking money. Police teams are now continuously conducting raids in search of those main leaders and helpers, and there is every possibility of some more major arrests soon.
