New Delhi. National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi has reacted to the statement of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in which he has said that Namaz should not be held on the road. Maulana Barelvi says that there is a fixed place for namaz and that place is called mosque. Apart from this, it has also been ordered in Islam that if you are at home then you can offer Namaz there too, if you are in a shop then you can offer Namaz there also. The peace and tranquility required for offering Namaz, that is, if nothing comes in the way between God and the devotee, then this peace can be better found in a mosque or at home. Whoever offers namaz in the mosque will get more reason, if he offers namaz at home then he will get the namaz done but will not get the reason to go to the mosque.

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi said that Muslims do not offer namaz in the streets, squares and parks. Shariat itself has given a provision that on occasions like Eid and Bakrid, when there are more worshipers, the Imam can be changed and different congregations can be organized in the same mosque. Due to this, there will be no traffic jam on the road and no one will face any problem. On the statement of Kunda MLA Raja Bhaiya, ‘All the Muslims were earlier Hindus, but Maulana Shahabuddin Rajavi Barelvi said, many people in India talk like this. We also believe that some Muslims came to India from Arabia. Here he explained the merits of Islam and propagated it. Sufia-e-Karam spread the teachings of Islam to the people. Influenced by him, people accepted Islam.

Maulana said that no one was lured, nor was pressure put on anyone. Even Muslim kings did not force anyone. If the complete biography of the Prophet of Islam is read, he also never put pressure on anyone. People accepted Islam of their own free will and happiness. Today, the crores of Muslims in India are residents of this place and all are Indians.
