He made this statement at a time when the US Justice Department made several serious allegations against former Cuban President Raul Castro, including murder. This case pertains to the shooting down of two civilian aircraft in international waters in 1996, in which four people died.

Trump said, ‘This is a very important issue. “This is a big moment not only for Cuban-Americans, but also for people who have come from Cuba and want to go back to see their families.” According to the report, this indictment was made public on Cuba’s Independence Day. On the other hand, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, himself an American of Cuban origin, issued a message to the Cuban people in Spanish. He supported the US fuel embargo on Cuba and blamed Cuba’s communist government for frequent power outages.
