Heat wave alert in many states of the country, heat wave will last till May 28, nights will also be hot

Heat wave alert in several states; Heat wave conditions will persist until May 28, with hot nights expected.

The Meteorological Department expressed the possibility of heat wave in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi from 22 to 28 May.

New Delhi. Heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are expected to persist over the plains of north-western, central and eastern India and parts of Peninsular India during the next six to seven days. India Meteorological Department gave this information. IMD said that there is a possibility of heat wave in some areas of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh from May 22 to 28.

The Meteorological Department said that during the same period, severe heat wave is expected in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Eastern Madhya Pradesh. IMD has predicted a strong possibility of heat wave in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi between May 22 and 28. Severe heat wave conditions may occur in some areas of these areas between May 24 and 27.

According to the Meteorological Department, “There is a forecast of heat wave in some parts of Rajasthan from 22 to 28 May, while in some areas of Western Rajasthan, there may be severe heat wave conditions from 24 to 28 May.”

According to the department, heat wave or severe heat wave conditions are expected in parts of Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on different dates between May 22 and 28.

Apart from this, the weather is expected to remain extremely hot in some areas of Uttar Pradesh and Vidarbha from 22 to 24 May, in Odisha from 22 to 26 May and in Telangana on 22 and 23 May.
