New scheme may be implemented soon

According to media reports, there has been a discussion in the Cabinet to increase the income limit for ration card in Delhi to Rs 2.5 lakh. It is believed that after passing this, changes can be made in the rules of ration card soon. If you now want to get a ration card made, then now only online applications can be made. By doing this, transparency can be increased and fake ration cards being made in Delhi can be stopped.

7.7 lakh ration cards canceled

If media reports are to be believed, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta says that after investigation, the government has canceled about 7.72 lakh wrong ration cards. Along with this, online applications for new ration cards have also been invited. He says that new ration cards were not issued in Delhi for the last 13 years. Not only this, investigation revealed that 1.44 lakh people were not fulfilling the income criteria. 35,800 people were not taking ration. 29,580 people had died and 23,394 ration cards were found to be fake.
