Patna. Bihar government has taken another big step towards making women economically strong. Under the Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana, beneficiary women are soon going to get the benefit of the new installment. Due to this decision, enthusiasm is being seen among lakhs of Jeevika Didis of the state.

Financial support is being increased under the scheme

The objective of this scheme is to make women self-reliant by connecting them with self-employment. Initially the beneficiaries were helped to start the work by giving small amounts, and now it is being increased in a phased manner. According to government information, the total assistance amount under this scheme will be given up to Rs 2 lakh, which will be sent to the accounts of the beneficiaries in different phases.

You will get full benefit in installments

Under the scheme, arrangements have been made to distribute the amount in several phases. In the first phase, initial assistance was given to women, with the help of which they started small businesses and self-employment. Now preparations are underway to release an installment of Rs 20 thousand in the second phase. After this, in the coming phases an amount of Rs 40 thousand, 60 thousand and 80 thousand will be given. In this way, overall the beneficiaries will get financial assistance up to Rs 2 lakh.

Benefits to both urban and rural

The government has not limited this scheme only to rural areas. Now women of urban areas are also being given this benefit. About 18 lakh urban women have applied for this scheme. Their verification process has been completed, and eligible beneficiaries will soon be given financial assistance in the form of the first installment.

Administrative preparations completed

According to officials, the process of checking and verifying the documents of the beneficiaries is almost complete. In such a situation, payment of the next installment will start soon. The government’s aim is to ensure timely delivery of assistance to all eligible women.
